Underneath, the chassis has the transmission and suspension modeled in detail .The treaded tires is mounted on nicely detailed wheels and all of the tires have the same design.

The cab is all metal and the lights on the front bumper have plastic lenses. An outstanding mesh radiator grill looks great and there is a miniature Mercedes logo on the front of the bonnet. Under the engine cover is a metal engine block.

On the side of the body there is the Mercedes model number, and there are delicately painted indicator lights.

Behind the cab the chassis is made of metal and features good looking leaf springs on the rear axles. The rear light clusters are painted well and the model features a towing hitch. The tipper body is all metal and the structure is modeled well.

The front axle steers and has a good range of movement. The rear axles have minimal movement but it represents the suspension very well.

The bonnet lifts up and reveals the engine, and it can stay in a raised position allowing for displaying of the engine.

The body tips to a good angle with the ram being stiff enough to hold any position, allowing more display possibilities. The tailgate also opens and shuts.

This is a well made model. It features a high metal content and is finished well. This is an enjoyable model of a historic truck and is highly recommended.
